Studio and Outdoor Maternity Session
Most women love to be pampered and what better way then to add hair and makeup to your photo session. Sara's pregnancy session we had our stylist come to the studio so we could spend the first hour pampering her and making her feel beautiful! We choose makeup, hair and gowns for a soft feminine look. And the results were amazing!

For Elizabeth we wanted something a little more dramatic and edgy to show off her pregnancy. So we used wraps and lingerie to highlight her femininity. Choosing a slightly dramatic look for her makeup and hair styling, we created a gallery of images that had a boudoir feel to them. The results are stunning!

Our maternity sessions are artfully designed to highlight the wonder and joy of motherhood. We have several options available including studio, family, outdoor, and lifestyle maternity sessions.
Our luxury styled maternity sessions include additional retouching and editing, along with the use of our designer gowns and wraps
Makeup and hair is also available.
The best time to schedule your maternity session is normally between 27 and 34 weeks of your pregnancy. This is the time when your bump will be quite noticeable, but not so big that you are uncomfortable. Then you will pick your photography date and we will pencil you into our calendar. Once we have the date, we will email you a proposal with our maternity offerings. You'll be able to choose the package that works best for you, and any add-ons you would like to include like hair and makeup or prepaid artwork.
Once you choose your package and add-ons, sign your photography contract, and pay your retainer, we will send you your confirmation email and your photo date will be scheduled.
1. schedule your pregnancy photo session
Once you book your photo session and your date has been confirmed, we will email you a copy of our questionnaire to help us plan for the big day. We will decide if you want to pick gowns to use from our client closet collection or if you want to provide your own. And if you want us to provide hair and makeup we have a wonderful stylist that will come to the studio and help with that as well. If you choose to let us handle all of the styling, all you need to bring to your session is your under garments.
2. Plan the Details
Next is the fun part, the photo session! Our photographers are experts at posing and lighting, and will make you feel pampered and glamourous. If you choose a package that includes family portraits and you have young children, we suggest bringing a friend or other family member to help with the children. We will photograph the family portraits first, and then we will ask that your spouse or helper entertain the children while we concentrate on creating the amazing images of just you that will highlight your pregnancy and motherhood.
4. Your Session
Once the photoshoot is complete, we'll schedule your photo viewing appointment approximately 1-2 weeks from your session. Each photo is then hand edited for quality and blemish removal &
you'll be scheduled to return to the studio to view an artistic slideshow of your images made to music and have the chance to order any additional images, prints or products before returning home with the images from your photoshoot.
